Scoring Algorithm Mechanics

Score accumulation follows a tiered multiplier system that persists across sequential successful catches. Each caught fruit increments the base counter while simultaneously increasing the active multiplier displayed as x2, x3, or x5 notation. Collision with skull objects immediately resets the multiplier chain and deducts one heart from the three-heart life pool. The system writes score data to local persistent storage using encrypted SharedPreferences for leaderboard integrity.
